GOOD QUESTIONS.
Do I need experience?+
You can begin martial arts without previous experience. Let your coach know it’s your first class so they can guide you through the fundamentals.
What is the difference between gi and no-gi?+
Gi training uses a traditional Jiu-Jitsu uniform, with jacket and trouser grips forming part of the game. No-gi uses a rashguard and shorts, focusing on grips and control without the gi.
What should I bring?+
Bring water, a clean change of clothes, and sandals for use off the mats. Keep your nails short and remove jewellery. Ask the academy which uniform and equipment you’ll need for the class you choose.
Can my child try Jiu-Jitsu?+
The kids program introduces movement, cooperation, and Jiu-Jitsu fundamentals through age-appropriate coaching. Ask about the suitable age group and available sessions before attending.
Can I take private classes?+
Yes. Explore one-to-one Jiu-Jitsu with Faheel, Boxing with Muhannad, MMA with Shahbaz, or Taekwondo with Shahvaiz. Ask the academy to confirm availability, session length, and fees.
How do I arrange my first class?+
Use the first-class planner to choose a program and prepare your enquiry. You can also call Faheel or Shahbaz to discuss your first class. Availability, session times and fees are confirmed by the academy.
